While Hayes grabbed the early lead from pole, Gobert was forced to scrap with Attack Kawasaki teammates Steve Rapp and Ben Attard while the three of them attempted to keep the title leader in their sights. Hayes' win ups his points lead to 19, 139 vs. 120, over Rapp. Gobert is third at 96.
